The Centre part of the display will show both RPM Km/H Kms your ped- alling speed and the dis- tance that you have pedalled. Note: The display can show speed and distance in either miles or kilome- tres. To change the unit of measurement, hold down the On/Reset button for about six sec- onds. (When the batteries are replaced, it may be necessary to reselect the desired unit of measurement.) The lower part of the RPM Km/H Kms display will show your heart rate (if you are Mode Bar wearing the chest pulse sensor) and the numbers of calories and fat calo- ries you have burned (see FAT BURNING on page 16). Every few seconds, the display will alternate between calories burned and fat calories burned, as shown by the mode bars. Note: To view only calories burned, press the Mode button. To view only fat calories burned, press the Mode button again. To view both calories burned and fat calories burned, press the Mode button a third time. In addition, the pace indi- RPM Km/H Kms cator on the right side of the display will provide a Pace Indicator visual repre- sentation of your pedalling pace. As you increase or decrease your pace, the indicator will increase or decrease in height. To reset the display, press the On/Reset button. 6 To turn off the console, stop pedalling. If the pedals are not moved and the console buttons are not pressed for a few minutes, the console will automatically turn off to conserve the batteries. 13
