CONTROL

UNIT

The

remote

control

unit

supplied

with

your

AVC-50

amplifier

is

designed

to

control

all

the

most

commonly

used

features

of

the

amplifier.

If

the

CD

player,

tuner,

turntable

and

cassette

deck

connected

to

your

AVC-50

are

Yamaha

components

designed

for

remote

control

compatibility

(components

with

an

mark),

then

this

remote

control

unit

will

also

control

various

playback

functions

of

each

component.

Please

consult

your

Yamaha

dealer

for

information

on

which

components

are

compatible

with

the

AVC-50

remote

control.

Note

that

this

Remote

Control

will

directly

operate

any

compatible

Yamaha

CD

player,

even

though

the

player

is

not

connected

to

the

AVC-50

by

a

remote

control

cable.

Battery

Installlation

The

remote

control

unit

uses

'AK

size

batteries.

Install

them

according

to

the

following

illustration.

Be

sure

that

they

are

installed

correctly.
