FM/AM TUNING Manual preset tuning You can also store up to 40 stations (A1 to E8: 8 preset station numbers in each of the 5 preset station groups) manually. See pages 35 and 36 for tuning instructions. TUNED A AM 630 kHz When this unit is tuned into a station, the front panel display shows the frequency of the station received. 2 Press MEMORY. The MEMORY indicator flashes in the front panel display for approximately 5 seconds. 4 Press PRESET/TUNING/CH l / h to select a preset station number (1 to 8) while the MEMORY indicator is flashing. • Press h to select a higher preset station number. • Press l to select a lower preset station number. l PRESET/TUNING/CH h SET MENU Flashes C3:AM 630 Preset station number TUNED MEMORY kHz 5 Press MEMORY while the MEMORY indicator is flashing. The station band and frequency appear in the front panel display with the preset station group and number you have selected. MEMORY MAN'L/AUTO FM MEMORY MAN'L/AUTO FM MEMORY Flashes TUNED C3:AM 630 kHz The displayed station has been stored as C3. 3 Press A/B/C/D/E repeatedly to select a preset station group (A to E) while the MEMORY indicator is flashing. The preset station group letter appears. Check that the colon (:) appears in the front panel display. A/B/C/D/E CATEGORY NEXT 6 Repeat steps 1 through 5 to store other stations. Notes • Any stored station data existing under a preset station number is cleared when you store a new station under the same preset station number. • The reception mode (stereo or monaural) is stored along with the station frequency.
