384 STARTING AND OPERATING Trailer Towing Weights (Maximum Trailer Weight Ratings) The following chart provides the maximum trailer weight ratings towable for your given drivetrain. Engine/Transmission 2.4L/Auto 3.6L/Auto Max. Frontal Area Max. Gross Trailer Wt. (GTW) 1,000 lbs (450 kg) Max. Trailer Tongue Wt. (See Note 1) 100 lbs (45 kg) 100 lbs (45 kg) 11 sq.ft.
