E Start with this position and turn the adjuster counterclockwise. Count the clicks, which correspond to position 1, 2 and so forth. The STANDARD factory settings are as follows: 1100 compression: 1.5 turns ±1/4 turn; rebound: 1.5 turns ±1/4 turn. Spring preload (A, fig. 47): 10 mm (3 turns from fully open position). To adjust the preload of the spring inside each fork leg, turn the hexagonal adjuster nut (2, fig. 46) with a 22 mm hex wrench. 1100S compression: 8 clicks; rebound: 12 clicks. Spring preload: 10 mm (3 turns from fully open position).
