Engine coolant recovery reservoir and dipstick Adding engine coolant RWARNING Do not put engine coolant in the container for the windshield washer fluid. If sprayed to clean the glass, engine coolant or antifreeze could make it difficult to see through the windshield. Add engine coolant only to the recovery reservoir - not to the radiator. If the coolant level is low, add to the engine coolant recovery reservoir container a 50/50 mixture of water and the type of coolant that Ford specifies. Check the coolant level again the next few times you drive your vehicle. 222
