Positioning spare tire 4. Replace the wheel lug bolts, but do not fully tighten them until you lower the vehicle. If you do, you could force the vehicle off the jack. Remove the retaining tool and replace it with the final lug bolt. 5. Your vehicle is built with metric (12 mm) threads on the wheel hubs and lug bolts. Make certain, during wheel removal, the same bolts removed are reinstalled, or if replaced, bolts with metric threads and the same chamfer configuration are used. 137
