Lubrication Specifications The transaxle and steering systems in your vehicle are filled at the factory with high-quality, long-lasting lubricants or fluids that do not require periodic draining or refilling except under severe-duty conditions. However, when refilling or adding is required, it should be with the proper lubricant or fluid meeting Ford technical specifications.
