Seating and Safety Restraints Unfastening the combination lap and shoulder belts While the belt retracts, guide the tongue to its original position to prevent it from striking you or part of the vehicle. Shoulder Belt Adjustment (Driver and Right Front Passenger) You can adjust the shoulder belt height to one of five (5) positions. To adjust, pinch the release button and slide it up or down until the belt rests on your shoulder near your neck. Release the button and make sure the adjuster is firmly seated in one of the five (5) positions. 171
