2. Lower the seat cushion. Refer to Figure 3. The child safety seat will move to a semi-reclined position as the seat cushion is lowered. 3. Read the information and warnings on the child seat cushion protector flap and shoulder safety belt. Refer to Figure 3. Check the child's size, weight and age to be sure the child is not too small or too large for the child seat. Then fold the flap down onto the adult seat cushion.
