Lights Replacing Rear Bulbs (in Fenders) 1. Open the trunk. 2. Remove the cover from the inside of the taillight assembly by pushing on the tab. socket for that bulb by turning it counterclockwise. 4. To remove either the tail/stoplight bulb or the turn signal bulb, push it in slightly and turn it counterclockwise. To remove the side marker bulb, pull it straight out of the socket. 5. Install the new bulb in the socket. Insert the socket back in the taillight assembly and turn it clockwise to lock it in place. 6. Test the new bulb. Reinstall the cover over the taillight assembly. Replacing Rear Bulbs (in Trunk Lid) 1. Open the trunk. 2. Remove the electrical connector from its hold-down clip by sliding it sideways toward the center of the car. COVER LOCK TABS 3. Lights
Replacing Rear Bulbs
(in Fenders)
1.
Open the trunk.
2.
Remove the cover from the
inside of the taillight
assembly by pushing on the
tab.
3.
Determine which of the three
bulbs is burned out:
tail/stoplight, turn signal, or
side marker. Remove the
socket for that bulb by
turning it counterclockwise.
4.
To remove either the
tail/stoplight bulb or the turn
signal bulb, push it in slightly
and turn it counterclockwise.
To remove the side marker
bulb, pull it straight out of
the socket.
5.
Install the new bulb in the
socket. Insert the socket back
in the taillight assembly and
turn it clockwise to lock it
in place.
6.
Test the new bulb. Reinstall
the cover over the taillight
assembly.
Replacing Rear Bulbs
(in Trunk Lid)
1. Open the trunk.
2.
Remove the electrical
connector from its hold-down
clip by sliding it sideways
toward the center of the car.
3. Use a Phillips-head screw-
driver to remove the two
screws from the bulb holder.
Remove the holder from the
taillight assembly.
