Door Locks Tailgate and Hatch Glass The rear wiper will not operate with the hatch glass open. If you open it while the rear wiper is operating, the wiper will stop. To close the hatch glass, lower it and press on the handle until it latches. STOP Use the valet or master key in the tailgate to: 1. Unlock the tailgate. Pull the handle to open it. 2. Lock the tailgate. 3. Open the hatch glass. You can also open it by pressing the hatch glass release button on the driver's door. To keep the tailgate door open on an incline, use the stop from the tool kit. The tool kit is in the storage bin under the cargo floor. Put the stop on the support strut as shown. Make sure to remove the stop before closing the tailgate. CONTINUED Instruments and Controls 73
