Using Electronic Speed Control On Hills NOTE: The Electronic Speed Control system maintains speed up and down hills. A slight speed change on moderate hills is normal. On steep hills, a greater speed loss or gain may occur so it may be preferable to drive without Electronic Speed Control. Vehicles equipped with a manual transmission may need to be shifted into a lower gear to climb hills without speed loss. WARNING! Electronic Speed Control can be dangerous where the system cannot maintain a constant speed. Your vehicle could go too fast for the conditions, and you could lose control. An accident could be the result. Do not use Electronic Speed Control in heavy traffic or on roads that are winding, icy, snow-covered or slippery. REAR PARK ASSIST SYSTEM - IF EQUIPPED The Rear Park Assist System is a driver aid that senses for obstacles behind the vehicle and provides both visible and audible warnings to indicate the range of the object.
