26 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE 1. If the RKE transmitter is equipped with a screw, 2. Remove and replace the battery. Avoid touching the remove the screw. REMOTE STARTING SYSTEM - IF EQUIPPED This system uses the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter to start the engine conveniently from outside the vehicle while still maintaining security. The system has a range of approximately 300 ft (91 m). Obstructions between the vehicle and RKE transmitter may reduce this range. Separating Case Halves
