MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 111 Idle Speed The idle adjustment should be performed in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart or whenever the idle speed is disturbed. Adjustment Start the engine, and warm it up thoroughly. Wait until the idle speed drops before making the following adjustment.
