KEYS AND DOORS Replacing the battery When you replace the battery, prepare a lithium battery CR1616 or equivalent and a special screwdriver. CAUTION Special care should be taken that small children do not swallow the removed battery or components. NOTICE D When replacing the battery, be careful not to lose the components, screws and O−ring. D Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by a Lexus dealer. D Dispose of used batteries according to the local laws. 1. Remove the screw, and then the cover while pushing it in the arrow direction. 2. Remove the module from the key frame. 18
