Practical hints Replacing bulbs Replacing bulbs Safe vehicle operation depends on proper exterior lighting and signaling. It is therefore essential that all bulbs and lamp assemblies are in good working order at all times. Correct headlamp adjustment is extremely important. Have headlamps checked and readjusted at regular intervals and when a bulb has been replaced. See your authorized Mercedes-Benz Center for headlamp adjustment. Bulbs Front lamps Lamp 1 Additional turn signal lamps 2 Turn signal lamp 3 High beam flasher 4 Side marker lamp 5 Fog lamp 6 Parking and standing lamps Type LED 1156 A H7-55 W W5W HB4-55 W H6W i Back-up bulbs will be brought into use when the following lamps malfunction: Turn signal lamps Brake lamps Parking lamps Tail lamps 1 7 Low beam and high Xenon1 beam D2S-35 W Bi-Xenon headlamps: For safety reasons (high voltage), do not replace the xenon bulb yourself. See your authorized Mercedes-Benz Center. 302
