CD EJECT When the button is pushed with a compact disc loaded, the compact disc ejects. When the button is pushed while the compact disc is playing, the compact disc ejects and the system turns off. If the compact disc ejects and is not removed within 10 seconds, it is pulled back into the slot. DISC indicator light This light comes on when a compact disc is loaded into the player. LHA0049 edges by rubbing the inner and outer edges with the side of a pen or pencil as illustrated. CAUTION During cold weather or rainy days, the player may malfunction due to the humidity. If this occurs, remove the CD and dehumidify or ventilate the player completely. The player may skip while driving on rough roads. Do not touch the playing surface of the disc. Do not use 8 cm discs. They may cause player damage even if using with the optional adapter. Recordable compact discs (CD-R) may not function properly in the CD player. CD care and cleaning Handle a CD by its edges. Never touch the surface of the disc. Do not bend the disc. Always place the discs in the storage case when they are not being used. To clean a disc, wipe the surface from the center to the outer edge using a clean, soft cloth. CD EJECT

CD care and cleaning

Handle a CD by its edges. Never touch
the surface of the disc. Do not bend the
disc.
