I it isn't there, and the engine backfires, you could be burned. Don't drive with it off, and be careful working on the engine with the air cleaner off. L The air cleaner is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment. To check or replace the air filter: 1. Unscrew the four Phillips-head screws, then pull the cover back. NOTICE: If the air cleaner off, a backfire can cause a is damaging engine fire.And, dirt can easily get into yourengine, which will damage it. Always have the air cleaner in place you're driving. when 2. Remove the air cleaner filter. 3. Be sure to install the air cleaner filter and replace ,the cover tightly. 6-16
