MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION Transmission Oil Oil Change 1. Position the vehicle on a level surface. 2. Place the transmission in gear. 3. Lock the parking brake. R N H 4. Remove the fill plug. Use a 15mm wrench. 5. Remove the drain plug. Use a 15mm wrench. 6. Drain the fluid into a drain pan. 7. Clean and reinstall the drain plug. Torque to specification. See page 73. 8. Add the recommended oil. See page 73. 9. Reinstall the fill plug. Torque to specification. See page 73. 10. Check for leaks. 74
