MAINTENANCE Storage Tips Cleaning and Storage Fluid Levels Inspect the fluid levels. Change fluids as recommended in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 70. • Front demand drive unit (front gearcase) • Rear gearcase (if equipped) • Transmission • Brake fluid (change every two years and any time the fluid looks dark or contaminated) • Coolant (test strength/fill) Stabilize the Fuel 1. Fill the fuel tank. 2. Add Polaris Carbon Clean Fuel Treatment or Polaris Fuel Stabilizer. Follow the instructions on the container for the recommended amount. NOTE: Carbon clean will also reduce the possibility of bacterial growth in the fuel system. 3. Allow the engine to run for 15-20 minutes to allow the stabilizer to disperse through the fuel in the tank. Oil and Filter Change the oil and filter. See page 78. Air Filter / Air Box 1. Inspect and clean (or replace) the pre-cleaner and air filter. 2. Clean the air box. 3. Drain the sediment tube. Recoil Housing Drain the recoil housing. See page 97. 112

Stabilize the Fuel
1.
Fill the fuel tank.
2.
Add Polaris Carbon Clean Fuel Treatment or Polaris Fuel Stabilizer.
Follow the instructions on the container for the recommended

NOTE:
