Hauling Cargo OPERATION Your ATV has been designed to carry or tow a certain amount of load. Always read and understand the load distribution warning labels on the vehicle, and never exceed the weight capacities outlined in the specifications section of the owner's manual and on the safety decals. WARNING Overloading the vehicle or carrying or towing cargo improperly can alter vehicle handling and may cause loss of control or brake instability. • Never exceed the stated load capacity for this vehicle. • Do not obstruct the headlight when loading the front rack. • Cargo should be properly distributed and carried as low and forward in the cargo box as possible. • Reduce speed and allow a greater distance for braking. • Use extreme caution when applying brakes with a loaded • vehicle. Avoid terrain or situations that may require backing downhill. • Always attach the tow load to the hitch point. • Do not tow any trailer on a grade steeper than 15°. • Vehicle should never exceed 10 mph (16 kph) while towing a load on a level surface. Vehicle speed should never exceed 5 mph (8 kph) when towing loads in rough terrain, while cornering, or while ascending or descending a hill.
