Ir'ou can tell the batteries are weak if the t ransmitter won't work at thenormal range in any location. If you haveto get C'loseto your vehicle before the t.ransmitter works, it's probably timeto Change thebatteries. 3?oReplace Batteries in the Remote Imck Control: 1.If your transmitter has a screw, remove the screw fromthe back cover. If it doesn't have a screw, pop the cover off by inserting a dime (or similar object) in the slot between the covers and twisting. 2. Lift the front cover off, bottom half Theft first. 3. Remove and replace the two batteries (2016). 4. Reassemble the transmitter. 5. Check the transmitter operation. Vehicle theftis big business, especially in some cities.
