Keys, Doors and Windows Battery Replacement The battery in the transmitter is weak and should be changed if it does not work at the normal range in any location. Notice: When replacing the battery, do not touch any of the circuitry on the transmitter. Static from your body could damage the transmitter. 3. Open the module cover. 4. Remove the old battery.
