System Tools 73 Refer to the following sections for details on each of these options. Restart Router Sometimes it may be necessary to restart or reboot the Router. Restarting or rebooting the Router will not delete any of your configuration settings. To restart the Router: 1 Select System Tools from the main menu, then select Restart from the sub-menu. The Restart Router screen displays (Figure 49). Figure 49 Restart Router Screen 2 Click Restart to restart Router. Reset to Factory Use this option to reset all of the configuration settings in the Router to Defaults the factory (default) settings. CAUTION: 3Com recommends that you backup your configuration settings before you reset to factory defaults, otherwise configuration information may be lost. Refer to "Backup/Restore Settings" on page 74 for details.

Restart Router
Sometimes it may be necessary to restart or reboot the Router. Restarting
or rebooting the Router will not delete any of your configuration settings.
To restart the Router:

System Tools
from the main menu, then select
Restart
from the
sub-menu. The Restart Router screen displays (

Reset to Factory
Defaults
Use this option to reset all of the configuration settings in the Router to
the factory (default) settings.
CAUTION:
3Com recommends that you backup your configuration
settings before you reset to factory defaults, otherwise configuration
information may be lost. Refer to
“Backup/Restore Settings”
on
page 74
for details.
