English 22 Ejecting the optical (CD or DVD) drive tray To eject the tray of an external IEEE 1394-compatible optical drive, press the eject button on the external drive (PC must be powered on). When the power is off, you can eject the drive tray using the emergency eject hole. Insert a straightened paperclip into the hole to perform an eject. Using a computer security lock A security keylock notch, located on the right hand side of the computer, lets you connect a Kensington-compatible computer security lock. Wrap a computer security lock cable around an immovable object such as a table or handle of a locked drawer. Insert the lock into the notch and turn the key to secure the lock. Some keyless models are also available.

To eject the tray of an external IEEE 1394-compatible optical drive,
press the eject button on the external drive (PC must be powered on).
When the power is off, you can eject the drive tray using the
emergency eject hole.
Insert a straightened paperclip into the hole to perform an eject.
Using a computer security lock
A security keylock notch, located on the right hand side of the
computer, lets you connect a Kensington-compatible computer
security lock.
Wrap a computer security lock cable around an immovable object such
as a table or handle of a locked drawer. Insert the lock into the notch
