Parameter Set HDD Password Password on boot Description When shown as [Locked], the hard drive password currently can not be changed or disabled. To change or disable it, turn off the system and enter Setup immediately after turning it back on. Press [Enter] to input change, or disable hard drive password. Defines whether a password is required or not while the events defined in this group happened. The following suboptions are all requires the Supervisor password for changes and should be grayed out if the user password was used to enter setup. Allows the user to specify whether or not a password is required to boot. Set Supervisor/User Password
If password on boot is required, the password must be set otherwise it cannot be enabled.
