The next task on the Installation Task List (see page 3) is to install your Wireless AP. This section helps you locate it in the best possible position and guides you through the installation process. Locating Your Wireless AP For maximum performance, install your Wireless AP in the center of your network, in a place that has a line of sight to all the devices connecting to it. Keep it as far away as possible from potential sources of interference, such as microwave ovens, 2.4 GHz wireless telephones, baby monitors and other wireless devices. Note: The higher you place your Wireless AP, the better the signal coverage will be, especially if you have WLAN stations upstairs from your Wireless AP. 6

Note:
