PROBLEM Unit throws snow poorly or does not throw snow. Unit runs briefly then stops. TROUBLESHOOTING PROBABLE CAUSE CORRECTION 1. Shear bolts broken. 2. Attachment clutch/brake not adjusted properly. 3. Impeller is frozen in place. 4. Ice or debris is obstructing auger. 5. Attachment drive belt slipping, worn or damaged. 1. Replace shear bolts (see Shear Bolts on page 28). 2. Adjust attachment clutch/brake (see Attachment Clutch/Brake Adjustment on page 30). 3. Move unit to a warm place to thaw. 4. With the engine off and auger disengaged, check for obstructions and remove. 5. Adjust or replace attachment belts. To adjust belts see Attachment Clutch/Brake Adjustment on page 30. To replace belts see Attachment Drive Belt Replacement on page 33. 1. A build up of fumes in the fuel tank is creating too much pressure in the fuel tank. 1. Carefully loosen the cap to the fuel tank. EN - 40
