When LAN LED is off with an Ethernet connection on any of the LAN ports: 1. Check if the Ethernet cable is secured at the modem router and at the computer. 2. Check if you are using a RJ45 Ethernet cable. 3. Try to use another Ethernet cable. 4. If still can not access to the GUI via a LAN port, contact support hotline. Restart your network in the following sequence: 1. Unplug the modem router. 2. Turn off the computers. 3. Plug in the modem router and then wait for 2 minutes. 4. Turn on computers. Check if your Ethernet cables are plugged properly. • When the Ethernet cable connecting your powered-on computer with the router is plugged in properly, the corresponding LAN LED will be on. Check if the wireless setting on your computer matches that of your computer. • When you connect your computer to the router wirelessly, ensure that the SSID (wireless network name), encryption mehtod, and password are correct. Check if your network settings are correct. • Each client on the network should have a valid IP address. ASUS recommends that you use the router's DHCP server to assign IP addresses to computers on your network. 87

Restart your network in the following sequence:
