3.3.3 CPU Configuration The items in this menu show CPU-related information the BIOS automatically detects. The items shown in the submenu may be different depending on the type of CPU installed. Intel (VMX) Virtualization Technology When set to [Enabled], a VMM can utilize the additional hardware capabilities provided by Vanderpool Technology. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] Hyper-Threading The Intel Hyper-Threading Technology allows a hyper-threading processor to appear as two logical processors to the operating system, allowing the operating system to schedule two threads or processes simultaneously. [Enabled] Two threads per activated core are enabled. [Disabled] Only one thread per activated core is enabled. Intel Trusted Execution Technology When set to [Enabled], allows you to enable the utilization of additional hardware capabilities provided by Intel® Trusted Execution Technology and requires a full power cyle. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] VT-d Allows you to enable or disable VT-d function on MCH. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] CPU - Power Management Control This item allows you to manage and configure the CPU's power. Intel(R) SpeedStep(tm) This item allows your system to support more than two frequency ranges. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] Intel(R) Speed Shift Technology This item allows you to enable or disable Intel(R) Speed Shift Technology support.
