IV. BIOS SETUP PNP and PCI Setup The "PNP and PCI Setup" option configures the PCI bus slots. All PCI bus slots on the system use INTA#, thus all installed PCI cards must be set to this value. IV. BIOS SETUP Plug & Play / PCI NOTE: SETUP Defaults are noted in parenthesis next to each function heading. Thus interrupts may be reassigned by the OS when Yes is selected. When a non-PnP OS is installed or to prevent reassigning of interrupt settings, select the default setting of No. Slot 1 IRQ / Slot 3 IRQ / Slot 4 IRQ (Auto) These fields set how IRQ use is determined for each PCI slot. The default setting for each field is Auto, which uses auto-routing to determine IRQ use. The other options are manual settings of NA, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 or 15 for each slot. If using manual settings, each slot must have a unique IRQ number. Slot 2/Audio IRQ (5) This field sets the IRQ for PCI slot 2 which is shared with the onboard audio. The default setting for this field is 5. The other options are manual settings of NA, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 or 15 for this slot. If using manual settings, each slot must have a unique IRQ number.
