4.1.5 ASUS CrashFree BIOS 2 utility The ASUS CrashFree BIOS 2 is an auto recovery tool that allows you to restore the BIOS file when it fails or gets corrupted during the updating process. You can update a corrupted BIOS file using �th�e��m��o�th��e�r�b�o�a�r�d�s�u��p�p�o�r�t�D�V�D����t�h���a��t���c��o�n�t�a�i�n�s��t�h�e� updated BIOS file. Prepare �th�e��m��o�t�h�e�r�b�o�a�r�d��s�u�p�p�o�r�t�D��V�D����c��o���n��t�a���in���i�n��g����t�h��e����u��p���d��a���t�e��d���m���o�t�h�e�r�b�o�a��rd� BIOS before using this utility. Recovering the BIOS from the support DVD To recover the BIOS from the support DVD: 1. Turn on the system. 2. Insert the motherboard support DVD to the optical drive. 3. BIOS ROM checksum error Detecting IDE ATAPI device... Found CDROM, try to Boot from it... Pass When found, the utility reads the BIOS file and starts flashing the corrupted BIOS file.
