4.4 Connectors 4.4.1 Rear panel connectors 1. PS/2 keyboard/mouse port (purple/green). This port is for a PS/2 keyboard or mouse. 2. RJ-45 port for iKVM. This RJ-45 port functions only when you install an ASMB7 management card. 3. Serial port. This port connects a modem, or other devices that conform with serial specification. 4. Video Graphics Adapter port. This port is for a VGA monitor or other VGA-compatible devices. 5. RJ-45 ports for LAN. These ports allows Gigabit connection to a Local Area Network (LAN) through a network hub. Refer to the table below for the LAN port LED indications. 6. +5V_LED. This LED lights up when the Power-on button is pressed and the system is on. 7. LOCLED1. The Locate LED is a user-activated LED on the front of the server module that can be remotely turned on or off. It is used to find a specific server module within a chassis. 8. Power-on Button. Press this button to power on the system. 9. USB 2.0 ports 1 and 2. These two 4-pin Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports are available for connecting USB 2.0 devices. 10. USB 3.0 ports 1 and 2. These two 4-pin USB ports are available for connecting USB 3.0 devices.
