Place the coffee pot (7) onto its seat. 4.1.1 Descaling To remove the traces (scales) that may build up inside the coffee pot as a result of usage in time without damaging the inner bottom surface of the coffee pot, pour a cup of half water-half vinegar mixture into the coffee pot and press start cooking (2) button. At the end of cooking, rinse the coffee pot (7) and use it as usual. 4.2 Storage •• If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time, store it carefully. •• Please make sure that the appliance is unplugged, cooled down and totally dry. •• Store the appliance in a cool and dry place. •• Keep the appliance out of the reach of children. 4.3 Handling and transportation •• D u r i n g h a n d l i n g a n d transportation, carry the appliance in its original packaging. The packaging of the appliance protects it against physical damages. •• Do not place heavy loads on the appliance or the packaging.
