Barrel Obstructions Check

BARREL OBSTRUCTIONS CHECK WARNING: Catastrophic failure can result if a cartridge is fired into an obstructed barrel. If you believe the barrel might be obstructed follow the "FIELD STRIPPING" operations and disassemble the pistol (pages 28-30). After disassembly, look down the barrel and check to be sure there are no obstructions in the chamber or bore. If an obstruction in the barrel is detected, a qualified gunsmith MUST remove the obstruction and inspect the pistol to ensure it is safe before it can be fired. If no obstruction is found, reassemble the pistol by following the procedures given in the "REASSEMBLY" section of this manual (pages 31-32). 33

BARREL OBSTRUCTIONS CHECK
WARNING
:
Catastrophic failure can result if a cartridge is fired into
an obstructed barrel.
If you believe the barrel might be obstructed follow the “FIELD
STRIPPING” operations and disassemble the pistol (pages 28-30).
After disassembly, look down the barrel and check to be sure there are
no obstructions in the chamber or bore.
If an obstruction in the barrel is detected, a qualified gunsmith MUST
