Pkigfl11 • Move the selector to the second position. (On some models this is not possible since the selector is blocked by a screw.) NOTICE: If the gun features a NON-SELECTIVE SINGLE TRIGGER or a SELECTIVE, BLOCKED TRIGGER (inertia mass type) it is necessary to give a slap to the recoil pad to prepare the firearm to decock the second hammer. • Pull the trigger to decock the second hammer. To remove the snapcaps without recocking the hammers: • Take off the fore-end before you open the gun. • Take out the snapcaps, close the gun and remount the fore-end. ROUTINE FIELD STRIPPING WARNING: Always check that the shotgun is unloaded (empty cartridge chambers). If not, unload it as instructed in the relevant section. WARNING: Never point the firearm at someone or at hard and flat surfaces. Always treat the shotgun as if it were loaded. The routine disassembly is required for cleaning operations every time the gun is fired or before storage in its case. • Completely pull the fore-end catch lever down to detach the fore-end (Fig. 16). • Pull the front of the fore-end down and rotate the fore-end around the hinge pins to remove the fore-end from the barrels (Fig. 16). CAUTION: ONCE THE FORE-END IS DETACHED, DO NOT PULL IT TOO FAR DOWNWARDS BEFORE PULLING IT FORWARD! • Rotate the top lever to the right. • Pivot the barrels in a downward motion, taking care to hold them firmly in order to avoid the risk they accidentally disengage the hinge pins and fall. • Lift the barrels out of the receiver. Disengage Monobloc recesses from hinge pins. The top lever remains open. To store the gun in the supplied guncase: • Remount the fore-end on the barrels and press it to catch the barrel hook. NOTICE: It is advisable to place the top lever in its centered position when the shotgun is being stored or trasnported in a gun case. Proceed as follows: move the top lever completely to the right and at the same time press the top lever plunger (located on the top left section of the breechface of the receiver) Fig 17. Once the top lever plunger is completely depressed, release the top lever to its centered position. 52

that
the
shotgun
is

Completely
pull
the
fore
-end
catch
lever
down
to
detach
the
fore
-end
(Fig.
16).
Pull
the
front
of
the
fore
-end
down
and
rotate
the
fore
-end
around
the
hinge
pins
to
remove
the
fore
-end
from
the
barrels
(Fig.
16).
CAUTION:
ONCE
THE
FORE
-END
IS
DETACHED,
DO
NOT
PULL
IT
TOO
FAR
DOWNWARDS
BEFORE
PULLING
IT
FORWARD!
Rotate
the
top
lever
to
the
right.
Pivot
the
barrels
in
a
downward
motion,
taking
care
to
hold
them
firmly
in
order
to
avoid
the
risk
they
accidentally
disengage
the
hinge
pins
and
fall.
Lift
the
barrels
out
of
the
receiver.
Disengage
Monobloc
recesses
from
hinge
pins.
The
top
lever
remains
open.
To
store
the
gun
in
the
supplied
guncase:
Remount
the
fore
-end
on
the
barrels
and
press
it
to
catch
the
barrel
hook.
NOTICE:
It
is

to

the

its

position
when

shotgun
is
being
stored

trasnported

follows:

lever
