If it is loaded, unload following the procedure described in the relevant section. WARNING: Never look directly through the barrels from the muzzle and do not replace the chokes with the shotgun loaded even with the safety engaged. • Engage the safety • Pivot the barrels in a downward motion or remove them from the receiver. • Unscrew the chokes counterclockwise with the spanner provided (Fig. 18). • Remove the chokes from the muzzle. CLEANING THE CHOKE TUBES AND THEIR SEATS WARNING: Check that the shotgun is unloaded (empty cartridge chambers). If it is loaded, unload following the procedure described in the relevant section. WARNING: Never look directly through the barrels from the muzzle and do not replace the chokes with the shotgun loaded even with the safety engaged. • Make sure the safety is engaged. • Pivot the barrels in a downward motion or remove them from the receiver. • Clean the choke housings thoroughly using, if necessary, a brush swab soaked with good quality Gun Oil. • Check the choke tubes if they are perfectly clean inside and outside and make sure of the perfect condition of the chokes before installing them. 53 6

THE

TUBES
WARNING:

the

the
safety

the
barrels
in
a

them

receiver.

the
chokes
counterclockwise
with
the

the
chokes
from
the
muzzle.
