Cleaning Your System The cabinets of your Acoustimasse powered speaker system can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not attempt to clean your Acoustimass powered speaker system with any solvents or chemicals. The grille aospmblies on the cube arrays may be carefully vacuumed, if necessary Please note that the drivers are located directly behind the grille cloth and are easily damaged if reasonable care is not taken. Avoid applying any pressure with the vacuum nozzle. Do not allow liquids to spill or objects to drop into the openings or amplifier on the Aooustimass bass module, or to enter the grille assemblies of the cube arrays. Accessories The cube arrays can be mounted on a well bracket. which can enhance the flexibility of your Acoustimass powered speaker system. For information and ordering instructions, contact your local authorized Bosedealer. i n Case You Have a Problem If you have a problem connecting and usi your Acoustimaslt powered speaker syste try the following guidelines to determine if th problem can be easily corrected. The majority d problems usually occur in components other than the speakers. (If your speakers are not connected to a Bose Lifestyle'"' music center. substitute the words "music source" for "music center.") Problem: The whole Acoustimass powered speaker system does not play or sounds distorted. Solution: 1. Make sure all connections are made and that the music center is plugged in and a selection (radio or CD)is playing. Make sure that the speaker wire strands are not touching each other, causing a short circuit. 2. If your bass module is equipped with a Power switch, be sure it is in the "on" (I) position. 3. Increase the volume on the music center (Refer to your music center's owner's manual.) If, after trying the above solutions, therein no sound. turn off the Lifestyle music center, disconnect the Acoustimass powered speaker system. and contact your local authorized Bose dealer for further assistance. 13
