English CHAPTER 6 TROUBLESHOOTING • Questions I cannot print from my application software. How can I change the printer's default settings? Sometimes I get a Print Overrun error when printing certain documents from Windows. Sometimes I get the Memory Full message. How can I correct this? Recommendation • If you are using Windows 3.1, make sure the supplied printer driver is installed and selected with your application software. • If you are using Windows 3.0 or earlier, make sure that proper printer driver is insatlled and selected to match the printer emulation. Exit to DOS and use the remote printer console program. • Change the following settings on the driver and try again. Page Protection Graphics Mode TrueType™ Mode User Printer TrueType™ Fonts • Reduce the print resolution or reduce the complexity of your document and try again. • Expand the printer memory by installing SIMM and turn page protection A4, Letter or Legal through the supplied Windows driver or RPC. • Change the following settings on the driver and try again. Page Protection Graphics Mode TrueType™ Mode User Printer TrueType™ Fonts • Another solution is to purchase more memory. • Reduce the print resolution or reduce the complexity of your document and try again.
