MFC 4550/6550MC/7550MC OP-US-5.0 ERASING YOUR MESSAGES MESSAGE CENTER MODE SETTINGS C) ERASING YOUR MESSAGES Erasing Incoming Voice Messages, Fax Messages and Recorded Memo (or Voice Alarm) There are two ways to erase voice messages and recorded Memo: One by One Erasing and All in One Erasing. Fax messages can not be erased one at a time. One by One Erasing KEYS TO PRESS 1. Press Playand begin to play. (Press Function and then Play for Voice Alarm.) 2. Press Erase before you hear the beep, which means the beginning of next message. 3. Press1 to erasethismessageor 2 toexit the function. 4. PressStoptoexit. THE DISPLAY WILL SHOW: MESSAGE 01/03 ONLINE ERASE THIS MSG.? ONLINE 1.CLEAR ONLINE 2.EXIT All in One Erasing You can erase all incoming Voice or Fax messages at once. KEYS TO PRESS THE DISPLAY WILL SHOW: 1. Press Erasewhen the display asks you if you want to erase. 2. Press Z (left arrow) or X (right arrow) to select whether you want to erase all voice messages (VOICE), all document messages (FAX), or all messages (MSG). Example: ALL VOICE.
