2 Pacesetter MacBroidery™ Embroidery Lettering Software - Recipes Caps Most home embroidery machines do not have a cap frame. Hooping a sticky stabilizer and then adhering the cap is the most common way of stabilizing caps for embroidery. Watch the embroidery constantly to be sure the cap remains flat as it sews. Some Consumers may have a MultiNeedle machine. Be sure to select "MultiNeedle" in the Preferences section. Now you will see the hoops available for this machine. By selecting the proper hoop you will be able to set up your embroidery to fit within the embroidery area for a cap design area on a cap frame. Please consult your machine instruction manual for more specific information. Fabric Thickness: Light to heavy Fabric Stretch: None to light Needle Size: Size 14 Titanium needle Thread: Polyester machine embroidery thread Stabilizer: SA5815 Tear-Away Medium Weight Adhesive Stabilizer Dog Collar Dog collars are generally flexible but thick. Because of this they cannot be hooped to be stabilized extremely well for machine embroidery.
