Some pullover fabrics can be easily hooped and others should be adhered to the top of a hooped stabilizer with a cut away placed under the hoop. A topping is suggested to to prevent the stitches from sinking into the fabric. Before selecting a topping check to see if the fabric is washable or not and choose the topping accordingly.
