To embroider on these a topping of water soluble stabilizer is used to keep the pile from showing through the embroidery. If extremely thick consider hooping a sticky tear-away instead of hooping the fleece. If hooping use cut-away or heavy weight depending on the design. Depending on the thickness of the denim the type stabilizer will vary. If the design is more stitch intensive a heavier stabilizer may also be useful. Jeans are also hard to hoop. Because Jeans are shaped instead of flat it may be easier to hoop a sticky type stabilizer and adhere the denim jeans.
