Restoring the Factory Default Settings Since the VB-C300 supports various functions, it is recommended to take a note of set values for each function. If you want to redo the settings from the beginning because you have forgotten them or for some other reason, first restore the factory default settings. * Refer to P.4-12 for the factory default settings. Restoring the Factory Default Settings via the Administration Tools Page using Web Browser 1. Start the Web browser and access the Settings Title Page. The VB-C300's IP address, user name, and administration password are required to display the Settings Title Page (→ P.1-3). 2. Click "Administration Tools" on the Settings Title Page. The Administration Tools page appears. 3. Click "Restore" of the Restore Settings. When the "Restore" button is clicked, the confirmation message appears. Click "OK " to restore to the factory default settings. ● Never power off the camera while the restore operation is in progress. Powering Note off before completion may prevent it from starting up properly. ● Once you click "OK", the process cannot be cancelled. 4. All settings in the VB-C300 will be returned to the factory default settings. All the settings of the camera except for the Administrator password, network-related settings (i.e., IP address, subnet mask and default gateway address) date, time, and time zone are returned to the factory default settings. 4-8
