Troubleshooting Guide If there is a problem, refer to this Troubleshooting Guide The Speedlite does n o t fire. + The batteries are installed in the wrong orientation. Bb Install the batteries in the correct orientation. (p.8) a The Speedlite's internal batteries are exhausted. If the flash recycling time takes 30 sec. or longer, replace the batteries. (p.8) e The Speedlite is not attached securely to the camera. Bb Attach the Speedlite's mounting foot securely to the camera. (p.9) e The electrical contacts of the Speedlite and camera are dirty. b Clean the contacts. The slave unit does n o t fire. Y e The channel does not match the master unit's channel. b Set it to the same channel as the master unit. (p.29) a, The slave unit(s) i s not positioned properly. P b Place the slave unit within the master unit's transmission range. (p.26) h Point the slave unit(s)'s sensor toward the master unit.
