Making the Most of the Printer Driver I Optimizing Image Data The printer driver allows you to compensate and optimize the print quality of image data. Depending on the type of image data you print, you can use either Image Optimizer or Photo Optimizer. Image Optimizer Enlarging an image often causes edges to look jagged. To solve this problem, after enlarging an image in your application program, turn on the Image Optimizer before printing. For example, you may want to use the Image Optimizer when you print a low-resolution image downloaded from a home page on the Internet. 1 Open the Printer Properties dialog box, then click the Main tab. 2 Click the Advanced button. 3 Select Image Optimizer in the Quality tab to enable the Image Optimizer setting.
