Direct Printing 5 Turn the camera's power switch to , then press the button. s The image will be displayed, and the or icon will appear on the upper left. Indicates that a card photo printer is connected. BJ printer-connected icon • For direct printing, using AC Adapter Kit ACK-E2 (optional) to power the camera is recommended. • If a battery pack will be used to power the camera, be sure to fully recharge it first. While printing, monitor the battery level. • Before disconnecting the cable from the camera's terminal, turn off both the camera and printer. Then grasp and pull the connector (not the cord) to disconnect it. • Do not use any cable other than the dedicated interface cable to connect the camera and printer. If the camera is connected to the printer and you do not operate it for approx. 6 minutes, the camera power will turn off automatically. However, if the auto power off (p.30) time is longer than 8 minutes, then that setting will take effect instead. 101
