Still Images Shooting Distant Subjects (Infinity) To restrict the focus to distant subjects, set the camera to [u]. For details on the focusing range, see "Shooting Range" (=173). zzPress the button, press the buttons to choose [u], and then press the button. XXOnce the setting is complete, [u] is displayed. Digital Tele-Converter Still Images Movies The focal length of the lens can be increased by approximately 1.5x or 2.0x. This can reduce camera shake because the shutter speed is faster than it would be if you zoomed (including using digital zoom) in to the same zoom factor. zzPress the button, choose [Digital Zoom] on the [4] tab, and then choose the desired option (=29).
