Commonly Used Shooting Functions 61 Using the Digital Zoom/ Digital Tele-Converter See Functions Available in Each Shooting Mode (p. 222). Shooting Mode * : [Digital Tele-converter] cannot be set. You can combine digital zoom with optical zoom when shooting. The available shooting characteristics and focal lengths (35mm film equivalent) are as follows: Selection Standard Off Focal Length 36 - 1440 mm 36 - 360 mm Shooting Characteristics Enables shooting at zoom factors of up to 40x with digital and optical zoom combined.
